Patient Services

New patients.

We welcome new patients to our Practice. All new patients are requested to make an appointment with our Practice Nurse for a health check (please bring a urine sample) and with a Doctor if medication is required. The health check is very important to update our records while we wait for your paper records to arrive from your previous GP.

We are happy to see patients who are temporarily staying in the practice area. Please contact reception for details. If your stay is longer than three months you will be asked to join our list as a regular patient.

Certain certificates and examinations are not covered by the NHS. For these services a fee is charged according to BMA recommended rates which are displayed at both surgeries. Please state what the appointment is for and the receptionist will arrange a mutually convenient time with your chosen Doctor outside surgery hours. A urine sample will be required for most medicals and please also bring your glasses as a sight test may be required. Again these fees are displayed and payment will be required at the end of the examination.
